DotActiv's Hiring Process

What you can expect from DotActiv’s Hiring Process

 

Of course, there is a process we follow whenever we hire new staff. Here is what you can expect when applying for a job at DotActiv:

  1. You can submit an application on one of the Career team sections pages.
  2. We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
  3. If you meet the minimum criteria for the role that you have applied for, we will contact you and provide you with more information. At this point, we will also request additional documentation from you.
  4. Thereafter, we will arrange an initial screening interview that will be done telephonically.
    If you don’t hear from us within 2 weeks, we might not have any vacancies available for that position or your application has been unsuccessful.
  5. After the Initial Screening Interview (telephonically), we will send you a job application form to complete.
  6. Once we have received your job application form, we will contact you within 2 weeks to confirm another interview. This interview will be in-person.
    If you don’t hear from us within 2 weeks, the interview process has unfortunately been terminated.
  7. An in-person interview takes place at one of our head offices, depending on the location of the relevant line manager who will be conducting this interview.
  8. You will be contacted to come to our office if the position is in Cape Town, or to our external psychometrists office (Johannesburg - Sandton) to complete Psychometric Assessments (assessing Personality, Values and Ability). If you don’t hear from us within 2 weeks, the interview process has unfortunately been terminated.
  9. Thereafter, our HR Manager (and registered psychometrist) will analyse the results and make the relevant recommendations to the line manager for the way forward.
    Only the most appropriate information will be shared with the relevant line manager.
  10. If your application is successful, an offer of employment will be drawn up and the relevant line manager will email the official job offer to you, along with all the other relevant documents (this can take anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks).
    If you don’t hear from us within 3 weeks, the interview process has unfortunately been terminated.
  11. Once you have accepted our offer, HR will be in contact with you to provide the relevant onboarding details and to secure your start date.
  12. Now you are a part of our DotActiv family.
