Adding Gondolas, Obstructions Or Island Fridges To Floor Plans

Within this article, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to add gondolas, obstructions or island fridges to your floor plan. This will equip you to navigate the floor planning software with expertise and ease.

As part of the software development, a new feature includes a dockable pane when adding or updating planograms to the floor plan. After selecting the store code related to the floor plan, you can choose your planogram/s of choice from the database.

You can also investigate this new feature in The Ultimate Guide To Floor Planning at DotActiv.

How To Add A Decision Tree To A Report Template

When working in the Custom Reporting function in DotActiv, you can add a Decision Tree.

This article was updated to explain that you can now specify the first level of the Decision Tree.

Within the Decision Tree Properties, you can choose either Department or Category. To view a step-by-step guide on this function.

How To Use The Floor Plan Analysis Grid And Optimizer

This article unpacks the Floor Plan Analysis Grid, Floor Optimizer, and the ‘Update Floor Plan’ function.

The newest software function is related to the User-Define NOD ability. This allows you to add a NOD value based on your expertise that will override the Recommended NOD. Furthermore, the difference between the User-Defined NOD and the Recommended NOD will appear in the ‘Variance’ column of the Analysis Grid.

The software automatically generates a highlight based on whether the User-Defined NOD is higher or lower than the Current NOD. Should the highlight be red, this will indicate that the User-Define NOD isn't available in the database. On the other hand, a green highlight will confirm that the User-Defined NOD is available.

How To Create A New Range Plan in Range Optimizer

This article will assist you in setting up a new Range Plan in Range Optimizer.

As part of this process, you can configure and manage templates.

A template is a set of grouped rules you can apply to a specific hierarchy level. It is set up to define the points given to a product based on the rules in the template.

The added section explains the Numeric Distribution (ND) and Weighted rule sets added for Sales and Units to evaluate products. You can configure these rules in the Template Configuration window and find each rule’s description under Rule Info.

You can also now select which Sales and Units rule templates to pull into your Results Grid. This will essentially also pull through to your planograms, Impact Analysis etc.
