Below is a high-level overview of what you can expect from the process:
We start by meeting with you to determine the brief for the planogram rollout of a single category. A range of basic information must be confirmed, for example, the category role, merchandising principles, high-level needs, category tactics, consumer decision tree, fixture measurements and so on.
Throughout this structured meeting, your DotActiv Space Planner will provide guidance and make suggestions where applicable.
The next step is to meet again to present the provisional planogram which contains the suggested product space allocations and product flows.
The provisional planogram is based on the data analysis results and the information gathered during the initial client brief. This meeting is used to critically analyse, confirm and make final changes.
Next, your DotActiv Space Planner will present the final output for approval. The planogram delivery includes the implementable and completed planogram and a comprehensive slide pack which details the category overview, role, highlights, reports and all other supporting rationales for why the planogram is presented as is.
The final step is a post-implementation review and case study. During this session, we outline the results of the implementation and determine what can be improved for the next rollout.

Meetings are held through Google Meet’s Video Conferencing. Other communication methods include email, phone calls and Google’s instant chat. All space planners outputs are subject to senior oversight from DotActiv management to ensure quality outputs, which are based on best practices. When clients prefer for DotActiv space planners to be based on-site, that can be arranged.
