In 2016 Q1, Q2 and Q3 we have seen that retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors have decided that they expect more from their category management and planogram software providers and many of them have come to enjoy just that from us here at DotActiv.

In the first three-quarters of 2016, we have acquired valued customers in Australia, Mexico, Belgium, Portugal, Angola, Namibia and even Vietnam. We have also continued to gain new customers on our home ground here in South Africa. We ascribe this expansion success to offering our customers more value, speed to delivery, quality and service. Below is a brief summary of how we have progressed in these key areas:

 

Value for money (An Economic Advantage)

Since our category management and planogram software products are developed in the “Silicon Valley of Africa” namely Cape Town, South Africa, we can create high-quality software at far lower rates than our competitors. This does not mean that our software is cheap or inferior, but rather that we have a significant economic competitive advantage. We are then able to pass this economic advantage on to retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors who are frustrated with the idea of having to spend unreasonable amounts of money on category management and planogram software.


Software Quality - customers stay with us, and they switch to us

Customers have come to realise that our category management software is fully capable of delivering real results which is why our churn rate is very low. Our customers stay customers because they are happy with their DotActiv software which they purchase from us. In fact, in the first three-quarters of 2016, we have seen companies switch from other US planogram software providers to DotActiv for this very reason.


Added Service - three simultaneous approaches to service

Service excellence has been a major focus for us this year and has been made up of a three-part approach which includes providing users with access to engaging training content, technical support staff and complimentary consulting from our experienced account management staff. The end result is that we work with customers to ensure that they achieve success with their DotActiv software.



Faster Turnaround Times - embracing digital through a non-multi-domestic model

Our service model is non-multi-domestic which means our customers enjoy rapid response rates at lower costs. As you are reading this press release our staff are conducting everything from online consultations to online demos for customers across the world without the need for excessive travel and infrastructure expenses.
